Hopes dashed – another coup in Sudan

As the coup enters its fourth day, Ayin in partnership with Sudanese Archives, has collected and confirmed the veracity of videos taken in the capital, Khartoum, on 25 October. Daily protests in Khartoum and the twin city Omdurman continue against the military takeover while security forces target civilians and remove makeshift stone barricades set up by the civilian protestors in several residential neighbourhoods. At least nine protestors have died and, according to the UN, 170 wounded since the coup took place this week.
