The sprawling Kiryandongo Refugee Camp in western Uganda presents a multitude of challenges for the Sudanese refugees who fled the war in Sudan and are now trying to eke out an existence in the rural camp. However, Sudanese volunteers are collaborating to optimise their circumstances, creating a home away from home within the camp.
